Online Booking Process:

1. Choose a date using the calendar

2. Click "Morning/Afternoon/Night Start", session times will display below, more session times are down the page. If a session time is not visible, it means that session is full or unavailable.

3. Choose how many Brew Stations you want to reserve. You choose the beers afterwards - let us know at the start of your brew. If you're not sure what to brew, you can sample some of the beers at our bar - you must arrive 15-30 mins early if you plan to sample before brewing.

4.The maximum number of tickets displayed indicates how many brew stations are available for that session. One Brew Station ticket buys one 40 litre brew, which can be done solo or shared by up to 3 people. More people can watch the brewing from the bar, or you can book multiple Brew Stations.

5. If the required number of Brew Stations is not available, please try another session

6. Click "Book Now" at the bottom of the page

7. Check your order details and click "Checkout"

8. Enter the purchaser's details for the booking (and the recipient's details if different)

9. The system will take a 50% deposit of $79.50

ALL BREWERS MUST WEAR COVERED FOOTWEAR AND BRING PHOTO ID.

About The Occasional Brewer

Our brew space and bar is located near the Basin Reserve on the border of Mount Cook/Newtown in Wellington, the Craft Beer Capital. The bar is open during brewing and bottling session hours, as well as outside of these times if required. We offer a range of in-house brewed beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as a small range of locally sourced food and snacks.

YOU NEED TO SIGN IN AND CHOOSE YOUR RECIPE

Brewers need to bring official identification (e.g. driver's licence or passport) as we take a copy for Customs.

Please wear comfortable clothes and covered footwear (no open-top shoes or sandals) that can withstand a little grain dust and the odd splash of water or beer.

Bottling: You must bottle your beer between 12 and 21 days after brewing, or we won't guarantee it - if this is going to be a problem, contact us ASAP. You can book your bottling session during your brew or we can issue a bottling session voucher for you to book online later.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a booking, please call us on 04-384-8268, or email us at info@theoccasionalbrewer.co.nz. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you may lose your deposit.

If you are more than 20 minutes late you will have to reschedule and may lose your deposit.
